Sufism is the path to finding the Spirituality that exists in all of us . It is to live through that spiritual experience & focuses on the renunciation of material things, purification of the soul and the mystical contemplation of God's nature.

Whirling Dervishs are a category of spiritual practitioners who whirl and chant to embark on their journey of spiritual elevation. They focus on getting rid of the material layers by focusing on the principles of Infinite Love, Tolerance & Introspection leading to extinction of desire - Fanaa’ or Nirvana as their highest state.

Fanaa is the spirit to self annihilate in order to shed the material layers that hinder our journey to realize the truth.

'Love' in Sufism is not what a normal dictionary defines it to be, but has a more profound meaning attached to it.
It is referred to as "Ishq" - the passionate state of being, where the lover annihilates himself and surrenders himself to the beloved.
Maulana Rumi says: "Submit to love without thinking."
